Chester Dacres, President, is an electrochemical engineer focusing in corrosion prevention schemes and degradation mechanisms of metallic materials. He has over 25 years experience in research and development, system design, site analysis, field testing, nondestructive inspection/ evaluation, and problem solving.
Previously, he was Head of the Corrosion Technology Group at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) where he developed the Combat Systems Corrosion Protection and Control Program for the Navy and founded a well instrumented laboratory in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, for materials testing.
Guy Davis, Principal Scientist, is a materials and surface scientist specializing in surface treatments for corrosion and adhesive bonding. He has over 20 years experience in basic and applied research and development, process development/optimization, problem solving, and quality assurance. He is responsible for the research and development activities at DACCO SCI, INC.
Formerly, he was Technical Manager of the Center for Cost Avoidance at Lockheed Martin (Marietta) Laboratories, which was responsible for teaming with corporate divisions to rapidly solve production/process problems.
Dr. Davis is the recipient of the William Blum Award of The Electrochemical Society (1998) and the Distinguished Young Scientist Award of The Maryland Academy of Sciences (1986). He is a Past President and a Robert L. Patrick Fellow of the Adhesion Society and a Fellow of the American Vacuum Society. He has over 140 publications.
